Tou Vang - OCTOBER 1, 1972 – MARCH 17, 2024

 Tou, who originally started this blog, passed away on March 17.  We worked together at rDS.  It would be 20 years next month that he and I got laid off from rDS.

I never expected to be friends with him.  He and I just never seemed to click at rDS, but a little while after we got laid off he contacted me.  We talked for years about things we both had experienced at rDS and the people that had crossed our paths there.  Eventually, our conversations turned mostly to superheroes, Star Wars, Star Trek, and 80s nostalgia.

I am going to miss our conversations.

I just filled out a survey for Wendy's.  On the page it said Powered by Questar.


I realize the spelling is different and a completely different product, but it caught my attention and made me chuckle a little.

I heard a podcast where someone was recommending a GPS device to sync the location of photos you take called the Q-star something. It turned out it was Q Starz B-Q1000.

Sources are reporting that more people in Indy are being laid off at OSI.

Ace Mortgage Goes Under

I heard a week or so ago that Ace Mortgage, where some former rDSers landed and which I believe is located in the OSI/rDS building is closing down.
